The Call for Papers for the Futures Conference 2025 is now open.
We invite researchers, scholars, practitioners, consultants and students to share their latest research results, findings and thoughts no later than 31 January 2025.
The conference sessions will be categorised into two different lines: academia-oriented and practice-oriented presentations. We kindly ask you to choose between these two when you submit your abstract.
Futures Conference 2025 is focusing on questions like:
– How can AI and other technologies contribute with advancing the scientific discipline of futures studies?
– How can technologies and new tools aid in foresight and in forming alternative and preferable futures?
– How can organisations and societies proactively manage the dual role of technology as both a solution to and a source of new societal dilemmas?
– What strategies can organisations use to identify and prioritise among multiple preferable futures?
– In what ways can technology aid work and research in the future?
– How does the integration of foresight into management practices contribute to industrial competitiveness?
– How to perceive and rethink the linkages between novel technologies and policy-making?
– How to reconstruct innovation policies in an era of pervasive technological changes?
– Bridging foresight and management studies: How do futures studies approaches inform management practices and vice versa?
