“Beyond the Horizon: Envisioning Preferred Futures in Technology and Society”

This Special Issue is linked to the Futures Conference 2025: Futures of Technologies – Mutual Shaping of Socio-Technical Transformations which will be held 10–12 June 2025.
The Call for Research Articles is open and limited to the participants of the conference.
The length of an article is 4000–8000 words (including references). The acceptance criteria for all papers are the quality and originality of the research as well as its significance to journal readership.
All manuscripts should be submitted by the author through the journal’s ScholarOne site as accessed via the Emerald website, and not by email or through any third-party agent/company, journal representative, or website.
